Not everyone but there are some users who will be going to get an update of Android P. It will happen only when you have the phones mentioned below.
The New Google phone: The new Google phone means the Google pixel phone of any generation 1st or second will going to get the Android P update in the upcoming days. In simple if you have the Google Pixel 2 XL, the update will roll out today or tomorrow and if you have the Google Pixel 2 than your update will be rolling out in this week. As this phone is launched in 2016 by Google so they will get update firstly.
Essential Phone: This Phone was launched by the creator of android Andy Rubin. This has never come to India. But if you have the Essential phone than you have already got the update of Android P. It is because the Essential phone was the part of Android P Beta Program As Google released the final Android version Essential also push the update to its users.
