PUBG Mobile 0.8.0 Update Brings New Sanhok Map, Anti-Cheating Measures, and More

One of the most popular, if not the most popular game on the smartphone, is just PUBG Mobile from Tencent Games,
and the players will be excited by the fact that a new map and a new bunch of other new content is coming into the game tomorrow. But so far, the game server is down for maintenance.

This was a scheduled maintenance downtime which was announced by the Tenant Games on Pubg Mobile Twitter Handle.
Dev will use this downtime to update servers with new maps and content for this launch.
To be able to play the new Sanhok map players will be asked to update their game versions tomorrow.
People who have not yet been aware of what to expect from new updates, they have a summary of new things coming in PUBG mobile with 0.8.0 updates:
New map: sanhok
In addition to the existing two maps - Erhel and Miramar - PUBG is set to add highly anticipated signature as the third map for mobile classic mode.
The new map is based on tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia, and about half of the size is much smaller than the other two maps of the game.
The number of players that started the game will still be 100, so this will be a large concentration of players in the small area from which more guns will be available, faster intense fight, and as a result, faster game.
New vehicles: bulletproof UAZ and muscle car
Some new big vehicles have also been added while driving in the game, which are large and provide better security and performance.
UAZ is a form of SUV that is already present in the game, while the muscle is one of the better-looking vehicles in the car game.
New weapon: QBZ
QBZ is an assault rifle which uses the standard 5.56 mm gunpowder of the game. This will probably replace Scar-l in the figure map.

Some extra, relatively small features are a part of the new version, in which the player is included in the pre-game waiting area to throw at others and changes in UI and auto-pickup of gunpowder.
The interesting thing is that the 8x scope will no longer produce random maps on the map, although it will be available in air droplets. The M24 rifle will also not be available with crate drops.
Pubg Corporation announced patch notes for the latest updates to Pub Mobile on Android and iOS on Tuesday.
This update brings a much-awaited new ah map for users on both platforms, besides many customizable pick-up settings, achievements, clans, anti-fraud measures, progress missions, Royale Pass, etc.
Firstly announcing that all servers of PUBG Mobile will be taken offline for maintenance after the update,
Tencent has now confirmed that the maintenance has been completed and the server is back online for gamers to resume its PUBG matches has come.
This update will be available for users starting September 12. The new code map can be downloaded freely, and comes with new in-game weapons and vehicles.
These include a new flare gun, an automatic rifle called QBZ, a shotgun attachment duckbill, a 4-seater muscle car, and another 4-seater bulletproof UAZ.
Sanhok map is the size of Erangel or Miramar's quarter, but still features 100 players per match.

New Map: Sanhok
Sanhok can be downloaded independently, so enter the game and get it right away to join your friends in the rainforest!
It also comes with new weapons and vehicles:
- Flare Gun: a rare item that calls a super air drop if used within the Playzone, and a Bulletproof UAZ if used outside the Playzone.
- QBZ: an automatic rifle that fires 5.56mm rounds. Has both single shot and full-auto.
- Duckbill: an attachment for shotguns. Reduces vertical spread and increases horizontal spread.
- Muscle Car: 4 seats, and has both a hard-top and a convertible version.
Customizable Pick-up Settings
- Bulletproof UAZ: 4 seats. Obtained from using the Flare Gun outside the Playzone.
Achievements
- Pick-up quantities can now be specified in settings.
Clans
- Added more achievements. Now can be found under Missions.
- Clan Perks: after getting specific items (through purchase or luck), the system will award a certain amount of UC for players to share it with other Clan members.
- New Clan titles can be equipped after purchase.
Anti-Cheating Measures
- Clan Rankings: now lists the most active Clans this week and this season.
- Improved recognition of cheating plug-ins.
Dismantling Time-Limited Items
- Added Report buttons to Spectator Mode, Basic Information and Results.
Progress Missions
- Time-Limited items can now be dismantled to BP directly.
Royale Pass
- Added a Collect All button to collect rewards of all completed missions.
Lucky Air Drops
- Added new mission types to make progression more fun.
Season Data
- Chance to get a mystery drop after a match. Contents are customized!
Improvements
- Season page now shows all seasons played and relevant data such as season titles, the highest tier reached and more.
- Friends can now be deleted in batches.
- 3D models added to vehicle and airplane finish previews in the shop.
- Animation on the Season page has been optimized for certain device models.
- Accidental friendly fire will not be penalized.
- Chat system has been tuned.
Last week, statistics from the Analytics App App App showed that Pub Mobile has crossed the three million download mark in the US with approximately 1.7 million people on Android.
Last month, the game exceeded 100 million downloads mark, indicating that America is an unimportant factor in America's success.
