Apple is donating 1,000 apple clocks in a new study whose purpose is to track biological changes in people with disorders (via CNBC).

North Carolina's Medical School will conduct a university study, which is called BEGIN (or Bing Eating Genetics Initiative) to better understand the hypertrophy disorders, in which people eat uncontrollably large amounts of food in a short period of time.

People who are pure or engaged in an excessive bout of practice after Bing, they are usually diagnosed with bulimia nervosa. The study will nominate 1000 participants of 18 or more who have experience with Bing eating disorder or Bulimia nervosa.

Each participant will be given an apple watch free of cost on the screen so that the researcher can keep an eye on his heart rate so that to see if there are spikes before eating any Bing episodes or not.

Nominated participants will also sign up with a mobile app called Recovery Record, which they can use to log their thoughts and feelings.

In addition, participants will receive tests to analyze their genetics and physical bacteria that researchers can better understand the causes of the disease.

"Cynthia Bulik,, founder director of Excellence Center for Food Disorders and author of Bing Control: A Compact Recovery Guide," We need to collect data from a lot of people to see this, "we want to know if it is a biological And practical signature. "

After all, researchers believe that the collected data can help predict episodes of Bing eating before they occur. Ideally, the result could be a follow-up study in which the participants received any kind of warning.

According to the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, at least 30 million people in the United States suffer from eating disorders, but the field of research is weak.

If you are 18, have an iPhone and have a current or life experience with binge eating disorder, then you can participate in the study titled "Binge Eating Genetics Initiative" (BEGIN).

In America, a team of researchers is ready to use Apple iPhone and the clock to track in accordance with the Center of Excellence at North Carolina's Center of Excellence, if you are 18, then there is an iPhone (model 5 or new),

And present or lifetime experience with Bing eating disorder (BED) or Bulimia nervosa (BN), you can use the "Bing Meal Genetics Initiative" (BEGIN)

The university said on its website, "The target of BSE study is to better understand the genetic factors associated with Binge-eating disorders and Bulimia nervosa to develop better treatment for millions of people suffering from those diseases.".

Researchers will use the Recovery Record App on the iPhone to record the mood, food, and goals of participants for 30 days.

Researchers will use the Recovery Record App on the iPhone to record the mood, food, and goals of participants for 30 days.

They will ask the participants to provide samples of their saliva and bacterial bacteria. "Once you enroll in a BEGIN study using your iPhone, we will send you a 'BEGIN box' via FedEx, which includes everything necessary for the study to be included."

According to a report in CNBC on Monday, the university hopes to recruit 1,000 participants, each participant will be given a free watch from the Apple and researchers will monitor their heart rate using the device's sensors on the spikes before eating episodes.

Apple Watch series 4 will soon be able to read electrocardiogram (ECG) directly from the wrist using the US ECG app, in which electrodes have the advantage of new electric heart rate sensors in digital crystal and back crystal.

With the app, users touch the digital crown and after 30 seconds, receive heart rhythm classification. It can be classified if the heart is beating in normal patterns or signs of atrial fibrillation (AFBI), a heart condition that can lead to major health complications.

All recordings, their respective classification, and any noted traits are stored in the Health app in PDF.
