This year, we launched several of the good "affordable flagship" phones such as OnePlus 6, Asus Genfon 5Z, Honor Play, and now OnePlus 6T. However, a phone that is clearly better than its competitors in offering value for money, is Xiaomi Paco F1, also called Xiaomi Pokofone F1.

Last month, Xiaomi had released the first Android 8.1 Orao-based MiUI 10 Global Beta Rom for Poko F1. Since then, the company is issuing MIUI 10 Global Beta Build on a weekly basis.

Although many other Xiaomi phones have already received the MIUI 10 Global stable updates, the POCO F1 is still up to date. Waiting this week will eventually end because MiUI will present 10 global stable updates for Xiaomi phones. However, the Global stable update will be based on Android OOO, not Android pie.

Given that the Xiaomi MI Mix 2S has already received the Android 9 Pie-based MiUI 10 Global stable update, POCO F1 users are naturally eager about Android Pie Update. Now we have the first Android pie-based MIUI 10 global beta build for Paco F1. This is a leak beta construction and has not been made public yet.

It comes with October security patches. It can be downloaded from this link. As there is a recovery ROM, it can be shown through the UIUditor app. Note that users running MIUI 9 Global Stable will lose their data in MIUI 10, so they are advised to back up first.

Pokophone F1 is a great value for money and the price is better now - in Poko, the product's major Jai Maine has confirmed that F1 will get "at least" Android 9.0 pi and Android Q.

Pocophone launched with Android 8.1 Oreo and had seen the trial a month ago. However, there is no release time limit. After the pie, the Android version "Q" is still named, but if Google keeps a schedule, it will be delivered in August next year. This will be one year after the launch of Poképhone F1. "At least" suggests that there will be more to come, but Money did not provide any further information.

Poko is also actively encouraging the development of custom rom for F1. Recently, such a god ported Pixel-exclusive features (from 9.0 pie software) with powerful pixel camera app.

It is quite smart by Poko, who is getting the best features from its competitors while maintaining practical rejection (Google does not want to share the app, it makes the pixel special).
