As per a report Whatsapp was working to add these features and new improvements in the upcoming updates. But it is not available yet for development reasons and feature needs to get many other improvements before it is available for everyone.
By using Read shortcut feature user can quickly mark as Read a chat directly from your notification center. In this week newly announced feature of the Whatsapp is labeling forworded messages and new group setting for admins.
How They Work?
1.Lebeling Forwarded Message
The message which has forwarded will be indicated by FORWARDED This extra feature will help in making one-on-one and group chat easier to follow. Best thing is it will help in determining if your friend or relative wrote this message originally or it is forwarded from someone else.
To see this new feature label, you need to have the latest support version of Whatsapp on your phone.
In a blog post of whatsapp wrote "Whatsapp cares deeply about your safety. We encourage you to think before sharing messages that were forwarded. As a reminder, You can report spam or block a contact in one tap and can always reach out to Whatsapp directly for help."
2.New Group Setting For Admins.
In a blog post whatsapp says "Over the last few months, we have added new features that improve the groups experience. Some of these include group descriptions, a catch up feature, and protection for people who are being added repeatedly to group they've left. "
Whatsapp has introduced new setting so admins can have better tools for these use cases.
To enable this settings, Open "Group info," tap group settings> Send Messages And Select "Only admins." This setting is rolling out to all users around the world on the latest supported version of whatsapp.
