Mohammed Azharuddin has scored 1517 runs in 27 Test matches as a captain on foreign soil.
Rahul Dravid is at fifth position with a score of 1219 runs at an average of 46.88. Popularly known as "The Wall", Dravid led India in 17 Test matches.
